Numerical integration and differentiation of sampled time signals by using FFT


Abstract eng:
The paper deals with differentiation and integration of sampled time signals in the frequency domain using the FFT and inverse FFT. The time signal integration in the time domain is replaced by division of the signal frequency spectrum by jtor in the frequency domain. Similarly the differentiation of time signals with respect to time is replaced by multiplication of the frequency spectrum by factor js the data are corrupted by noise some components of the frequency spectrum are filtered out.
