000001501 520__ $$2eng$$aFE numerical analysis of floor structure made from clay units HURDIS has proved that the stress state in support region, where failure occurs, is mainly influenced by six parameters: modulus of elasticity of concrete, modulus of elasticity of fired clay, shrinkage of concrete, moisture expansion of clay, thickness of concrete layer and thickness of webs of HURDIS plate. These parameters determine sensitivity of clay units in the floor structure to failure.
