CONCRETE SUSTAINABILITY AND RESILIENCE: INSTITUTIONALIZING PRINCIPLES, TRANSFORMING PRACTICE
Abstract eng: Globally, governments, developers, planners, designers and builders are working to embrace and embed sustainability and resilience into their decisions and practices. This presentation will provide an overview of the American Concrete Institute’s efforts to institutionalize the principles of sustainability and resilience. Case studies of projects from around the world will demonstrate transformation of practices implementing low impact, high performance solutions.
