000002067 520__ $$2eng$$aThe main results of a large research project undertaken in order to validate the composition of new ternary cements containing Portland clinker, limestone filler and slag are presented. Concretes with 300 and 340 kg/m³ binder, either reference or ternary cements, have been tested for mechanical and durability performances. Concretes made with ternary cements achieve performances which are similar or even superior to those of concretes made with reference cements.
