INFLUENCE OF COARSE FLY ASH ON FLUIDITY AND HYDROTHERMAL REACTION OF CEMENT PASTE AT LOW WATER TO POWDER RATIO

Abstract eng:
In order to reduce environmental loading, it is important to propose the way for the usage of large particles of Fly Ash. In this research, relationship between packing fraction and fluidity of cement whitch contains coarse particles of Fly Ash are discussed. By combining Fly Ash, the packing fraction of cement particles is is improved. The fuluidity of paste containing 25% of FA was high enough to cast at the water to powder ratio of 0.14 and the total pore volume of hardened paste was 0.16ml/ml. From this, the strength and durability containing coarse Fly Ash is assumed to be high enough.
