PREDICTOR MODELS FOR EVALUATION OF EFFICIENCY FACTORS OF FLY ASH IN CONCRETE

Abstract eng:
The present paper is directed towards development of statistical models for the evaluation of efficiency factors of fly ash so that its contribution on concrete strength can be assessed. Extensive experimentation has been carried out over a wide range of water binder ratios (w/b), binder contents and fly ash binder ratios. Using the 90-day strengths of concrete, the efficiency values have been evaluated. By using simple statistical tools user friendly efficiency predictor models for fly ash have been proposed that can find useful application in the design of fly ash concrete mixes.
