000002092 520__ $$2eng$$aBy calcination and dehydration of paper sludge, which is a by-product of recycled paper waste, a non toxic mineral with a highly pozzolanic activity is formed. Besides the pozzolanic activity this mineral also shows hydraulic potential. The objective of this study is to examine the feasibility of using APReM as a partial replacement for cement and especially as a leverage to use more Supplementary Cementing Materials such as Fly Ash. The early age properties and mechanical properties, i.e. workability, setting and compressive strength, were tested. Moreover, Mercury Intrusion Porosimetry (MIP) was used to measure the pore size and pore size distribution.
