In this research, mortar specimens replaced the standard sand with the granite by-profuct; produced from the granitic quarry of Shodoshima island in Kagawa prefecture, were examined in order to evaluate the influence of replacing ratio to physical and mechanical properties of mortar. As a result from both the fluidity and the strength of mortar specimens, it was concluded that granite by-product could be useful admixture when replaced it as fine aggregate.
