APPLICATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL FRIENDLY SYSTEMS TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT DURING CONSTRUCTION OF GRADE SEPARATORS IN NEW DELHI
Abstract eng: Construction of grade separators (Flyovers/ Underpasses) is essential in a growing society, but simultaneously the right of the Environment to remain protected in any construction project cannot be jeopardized. While the construction of structures cause an impact on the health of the environment, the environmental characteristics also make an impact on the life of the structure. In the new Millennium, New Delhi has seen the construction of number of Infrastructure Projects which have loaded the Environment with all kinds of pollutants. But, the Engineers have been deploying latest environmental friendly technologies to protect it or at least minimizing the deterioration.
