FIELD SURVEY AND ANALYSIS ON TRANSPORT CONDITIONS OF VARIOUS BUILDING MATERIALS INTO CONSTRUCTION SITE TOWARD MITIGATING ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS


Abstract eng:
This study intends to analyze various techniques and systems to mitigate environmental impacts on transportation of building materials based on the field survey of the building construction processes. The procedures of a study were as follows, at first to select the typical building for the analysis constructed in Tokyo area, to investigate the transportation conditions from raw materials plants to the construction site of the building, and finally to analyze the transportation routes, transportation means, loading capacities for carriers, and packaging method to their transportation conditions.
