INTEGRATED AND SUSTAINABLE FLOOR SLAB SYSTEMS FOR LONG SERVICE LIFE
Abstract eng: The success of sustainable building concepts in practice is strongly dependent upon the development of multifunctional floor slab systems. In the following paper general principles of construction for integrated slab systems in composite construction are introduced. According to these principles, the paper describes the development of an innovative slab system that incorporates building services and technical installations into the structural element by means of an integrated installation floor. The paper presents the experimental testing program for the composite floor slabs and describes the results of two beam tests.
