ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS AND MITIGATION MEASURES IN INFRASTRUTURE PROJECTS OF NEW DELHI
Abstract eng: : Civil constructions in urban areas are essential for the benefits of the community. But, while enjoying its outcomes, the slow damage caused to the environment due to construction activities over a period of time cannot be ignored. It is essential that every such activity should be environment friendly as the Environment too has a right to remain protected from any kind of damages. The need of the hour is to have a focus on sustainable development in the best interest of environment and community at large. To assess the amount of the degradation and required mitigation measures, it is essential to understand the environmental characteristics of the area in which structure is taking birth.
