LOW CARBON GREEN GROWTH AND SUSTAINABLE CONCRETE TECHNOLOGIES IN KOREA
Abstract eng: Key green policies of Korea, such as Low Carbon Green Growth, Target Management, and Emission Trading, are first introduced. Recent efforts to systematically develop environmentally sound and sustainable technologies in the cement and concrete sectors are explained. Environmental standards and guidelines based on ISO life-cycle approaches such as national LCI database, environmental labels declarations of concrete constituents and concrete are introduced. It is stressed that the education on sustainability to young generation should be realized as early as possible.
