The assessment of this capacity is the first step for its consideration as the case study of Salinas de Añana and its Salt Valley (Basque Country, Spain). Various factors have drawn a physiographic support: the diapir and, a natural resource, salt water springs. In this system the historical human dimension created a cultural landscape that evolved to achieve its maximum productive efficiency. In this work is presented for this territory the capacity to show the natural and human factors that characterise it, the quality and singularity of the natural spaces related to the diapir, the maintenance of secular signs of the activity in the territory, the visual capacity of the Salt Valley in terms of how compact it looks, the interpretation, accessibility or aesthetics.
