E-learning v oblasti oceľových konštrukcií

Abstract eng:
With the gradual implementation of Eurocodes came the necessity of training courses for practising engineers. Research for the steel construction sector has highlighted the difficulties of traditional continuous professional development. A major barrier is time out of the office for attendance at training courses. This paper reports on the projects SSEDTA 1, SSEDTA 2, NFATEC and EurIng, funded by the Leonardo Da Vinci programme, which aim to trial and evaluate combinations of self-learning and conventional teaching for some new European Codes of Practice (EC-3 and EC-4) and various modes of interaction with a tutor and other delegates as well as to equip the engineers with all the necessary information to enable them to produce steel building designs in other European countries.
