000002711 520__ $$2eng$$aThe aim of this article is to determine effective shape of strake system submit ted of wind induced vibrations. The basic shape of structrure is thin-walled steel cylinder. The analysis is based on CFD, a special computation of the velocity field surrounding the structure has been carried out. It was made 9 models of cylinder with using different strake systems in multiphysical system ANSYS. These models are captivited wind action.
