Niekoľko poznatkov z priebehu extrémnej jarnej povodne v roku 2006 na Zahorí a rieke Morave

Abstract eng:
At the end of March and beginning of April in the year 2006, there was a flood at the Morava River and its corresponding affluent water streams. This event was significant because it exceeded all ever known historical water levels. A very similar event has happened nine years ago in year 1997. This presentation deals with knowledge obtained during the water floods in 2006 and 1997. It will also discus the preventive measures, the effect of these measures and the experience collected during this time period. It also describes the cooperation between the SVP manager, state authorities for protection against floods, emergency forces and local authorities during these two floods. The authors have collected all the knowledge, experience and suggestions for the future.
