The contribution informed about methods of design of overflow objects on sewer systems according to commend procedures in STN (Slovak Technical Norms). Emphasis is insists on hydrological design where is adduced a new concept of calculation of limited rainfall intensity, which is advised for design of storm water overflow to non-water watercourse on Slovak Republic area. The contribution includes basements of hydrological design of combined sewer overflow, description of construction principles of these objects and information about options of governing from combined sewer overflow to sewage treatment plant also.
