Thermal deformation analysis of the toothed rim


Abstract eng:
This paper presents some results of the thermal deformation analysis of screwed toothed rim. The loading was determined by thermal gradients and by prestressing of connecting bolts. The main factors, which could affect the value of the thermally conditional opening in connecting area near teeth, were examined. Various models of thermal loading and prestressing were analyzed by the finite element method.
