2D MODEL OF A RIDER AND A POWERED TWO-WHEEL VEHICLE


Abstract eng:
The two dimensional (2D) model of a rider and a Powered TwoWheeler (PTW) is proposed in this paper. The needs of such type of a model are summarized. The model is composed of rigid bodies connected by kinematic joints. The adopted modeling methodologies were the analysis in time domain using absolute Cartesian coordinates of the bodies. The model parameters, code implementation and simulation results are presented for a testing example. The results are discussed and conclusions are taken.
