The fuzzy set plasticity model is physically intuitive and easy to visualize, which provides analytical and simple geometrical interpretation to formulate hardening, deviatoric and volumetric hysteresis features, material memory, and kinematic mechanisms without resorting to a complex analytical formulations. Two numerical examples involving granular materials subjected to drained conditions are demonstrated in this paper.
