This method utilizes the ratio of curvature in the mode shape of the damaged structure vs. the undamaged structure. A shear-building model is utilized for damage detection of the unbraced frame system, both with full and partial sensor data. The location and severity of damage is carried out using the Damage Index Method for both existing damage patterns established by TGoSHM.
