Active vibration control of a cantilever beam


Abstract eng:
The paper deals with analysis of a c antilever beam equipped by the active vibration control system. The cantilever beam as a continuum is approximated by a lumped-parameter system. The lumpedparameter model enables to derive the transfer functions relating forces to displacements, to determine the appropriate controller type and to determine under what conditions the system will work.
