As a result, it was found that the input of vertical ground motion had no significant effect when the building was in an elastic region, and that the input of vertical ground motion had effects on the distribution of the maximum horizontal response acceleration and the amplitude of the prevailing periodic band of horizontal floor response spectrum when the building reached a non-linear region.
