000010764 520__ $$2eng$$aThe bridge and building complex structural system is proposed as a new seismic structural system in the paper. The bridge and building complex structural system is modeled by a simple two degree of freedom model for earthquake dynamic response analysis, and the main influential parameters of the complex structural system, such as damping, mass ratio and frequency ratio, are theoretically investigated. Based on the analysis of response and parameters of the complex structural system, the governing equation of the optimum frequency ratio and damping ratio are obtained in the paper.
