000010785 520__ $$2eng$$aA finite element simulation of the structure with tuned liquid damper (TLD) is studied. The fluid-structure interaction (FSI) mode of TLD system is built with finite element analysis tool ADINA. The characteristics of vibration reduction of TLD, and transient fluid pressure distribution are simulated using the ADNIA FSI module. The results agree well with the date by simplified experimental mode. It is shown that the characteristics of TLD can be predicted accurately.
