By applying the damage ratio equation to the column and beam composing RC-frame, the damage analysis method of multi-story RC-frame under extremely strong ground motion is proposed. Seismic response damages of multi-story RC-frames designed under variable design conditions are calculated by the presented numerical analysis method. From the calculated results, the effects of design conditions on the damage of RC-frame are investigated and it is shown that the steel bar fracture of RC member is closely related to the reinforcement ratio of it and the column-over-design factor of RC frame.
