This research investigates the dynamic parameters for two identical stone minarets using ambient vibration testing technique and utilizing test results to update their structural models. The procedure is advantageous in the assessment of historical structures due to the fact that it is non-destructive. It is capable of extracting unique characteristics of the structure and may be used for health monitoring as well as fine-tuning of theoretical models.
