000012341 520__ $$2eng$$aThe Shen-Wu Gate in the Forbidden City in China is an ancient wooden building which is composed of base,column,Tou-Kung,Beam Frame and Roof.According to the constitution characters of Shen-Wu Gate,its finite element model is built.According to Chinese Seismic Design Code, response spectrum analysis is applied to appraise its aseismic capacity.Results of displacement and inner forces show that the Shen-Wu Gate can resist 8-degree intensity of seldomly occurred earthquake.
