Experimental investigation of vibrations on sluices with large segment gates


Abstract eng:
This work deals with the problems caused by very strong vibrations emergence on the large segment gates in the sluices “Staicevo” and “Tomasevac” built in Vojvodina. Without interrupting regular operations on the representative structure of sluice “Tomasevac” author has done the test and the base measuring of intensity of vibrations. The experimental research included determining the level of vibration segment gate structure using effective value of vibration parameters. The author applied time, frequent and modal analyses. The measuring analysis demonstrated the middle segment gate deformation forms on the sluice “Tomasevac” for the first two modes. In this research author compared the results of measuring vibrations on the sluice “Staicevo”` described in his previously published papers and the results of measuring vibrations on the sluice “Tomasevac”. According to these data and everyday work experiences author suggested a few measures to decrease intensity of vibrations of segment gate.
