Wind on bridges in the time domain

Abstract eng:
The analysis of bridges due to dynamic wind loading in the time domain is a feature which is not used very often, but has large benefits if nonlinear structural or aerodynamic effects have to be accounted for. This paper compares the results of such an analysis with an advanced analysis in the frequency domain for a construction stage of a bridge where multiple eigenforms are important.
