This study examines the bond behaviour of CFRP sheet adhesively bonded to a Douglas Fir timber substrate using a single-shear pull-off test. Eleven specimens were tested to analyse the failure mechanism, FRP strain and FRP-timber interfacial bond stress distributions. The influence of parameters including bond length and width are also discussed. The concept of effective bond length was demonstrated to be applicable for CFRP-to-timber bonded systems, which was found to be approximately 60 mm and 40 mm for the 0.167 mm and 0.111 mm thick CFRP sheets used in this study. 000012783 540__ $$aText je chráněný podle autorského zákona č. 121/2000 Sb. 000012783 653__ $$a 000012783 7112_ $$aSixth International Conference on Structural Engineering, Mechanics and Computation$$cCape Town, South Africa$$d2016-09-05 / 2016-09-07$$gSEMC2016 000012783 720__ $$aLi, X.$$iZhang, F.$$iXu, Q.$$iChen, J.F.$$iHarries, K. 000012783 8560_ $$ffischerc@itam.cas.cz 000012783 8564_ $$s1258511$$uhttps://invenio.itam.cas.cz/record/12783/files/231.pdf$$yOriginal version of the author's contribution as presented on CD, 231.pdf. 000012783 962__ $$r12552 000012783 980__ $$aPAPER
