000012802 520__ $$2eng$$aBond behavior between reinforcement and concrete subjected to reversed loading is very important for seismic design and rehabilitation of structures, which is greatly influenced by the stress states around the bond parts of reinforced concrete structure. However, the influences of lateral pressure on the bond behavior around the anchorage parts of reinforcing bars have not been considered yet which were caused by reversed loading. The purpose of this paper is to present an experimental investigation into the bond behavior of deformed bars subjected to reversed loading and lateral pressure. Based on the experimental results, the effects of the lateral pressure, bar diameter and slip history on the bond behaviour are examined.
