The ultimate goal of this investigation is the influence of bridge design on the human perception. The suitable model of mutual interaction between human gait and elastic bridge has been developed. It consists of the multibody model of walking human being and of the FEM model of elastic bridge. The mutual interaction between both structures is modeled by force influence. The human gait is controlled and stabilized by feedback. The model is capable to simulate both the stable and unstable human gait in dependence on the bridge stiffness. Several real elastic bridges are investigated.
