000014075 520__ $$2eng$$aEpoxy based shape memory polymers (ESMPs) always present inherent brittleness and susceptible to fatigue due to the highly cross-linked network. To solve the above problems, in this study, we prepared a type of epoxy based shape memory nano-composites (ESMNCs) by introducing nano-carboxylic acrylonitrile butadiene rubber powder to ESMP matrix. The thermal, mechanical and shape memory behaviour of such ESMNCs were systemically investigated. Results demonstrated that the toughness of the fabricated materials greatly  ...  memory behaviour with fast responsive speed, high shape fixing and recover ratio.
