In the pendulum system for the power conversion, the output power depends on the load resistance. For this reason, the output power can be controlled by regulating the load through a power converter on the basis of the Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT). The characteristic power curve implies that the maximum power point cannot be directly tracked by measured power. This paper finds out another variable to estimate the maximum power point for a MPPT method of the converting pendulum system.
