With the fractal theory and statistical fracture mechanics method, the statistical strength of rock mass under the rock mass fracture evolution is studied. The relationship between the rock mass strength and fractal dimension is established, and the corresponding relation diagram is drawn. Analysis results show that the fractal dimension can be used as a parameter of rock mass damage state, and the strength of rock mass decreases with the increase of fractal dimension.
