000014398 520__ $$2eng$$aThe micromorphic method is recalled and applied to continuum crystal plasticity in order to model size effects in the mechanical behavior of single and polycrystals. The constitutive equations are discussed with respect to the prediction of scaling laws. The regularization power of the model is illustrated in the case of crack propagation simulation in single crystals.
