000001495 520__ $$2eng$$aThe crack growth prediction techniques in the critical area of the small transport aircraft undercarriage bracket has been describe in this paper. Stress-state was determined by FEM numerical simulation. The PREDIKCE code was used for crack growth curve determination. This code was developed in the Aeronautical Research and Test Institute (VZLU). The crack initial size was determined based on experimental data and computation.
