However, the majority of the mechanics work has been directed toward modeling and computational aspects, and not nearly as much on validation. This work overviews recent research on a combined experimental and modeling effort on polymeric gels, from a mechanics based framework. This integrated approach leads to a data set useful to mechanicians to further refine those models found in the literature. Most importantly, it shows some serious faults in current modeling efforts. 000015045 540__ $$aText je chráněný podle autorského zákona č. 121/2000 Sb. 000015045 653__ $$a 000015045 7112_ $$a24th International Congress of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics$$cMontreal (CA)$$d2016-08-21 / 2016-08-26$$gICTAM2016 000015045 720__ $$aChester, Shawn 000015045 8560_ $$ffischerc@itam.cas.cz 000015045 8564_ $$s159469$$uhttps://invenio.itam.cas.cz/record/15045/files/TS.MS05-4.02.pdf$$yOriginal version of the author's contribution as presented on CD, page 278, code TS.MS05-4.02 . 000015045 962__ $$r13812 000015045 980__ $$aPAPER
