The resulting theory can be viewed as giving a finite strain version of the well known eigenstrain problem in linear elasticity. We use this theory to study an abrupt inflation instability in pressurized shells. At fixed pressure, a slowly changing amount of swelling can suddenly cause a finite jump in the shell radius. 000015173 540__ $$aText je chráněný podle autorského zákona č. 121/2000 Sb. 000015173 653__ $$a 000015173 7112_ $$a24th International Congress of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics$$cMontreal (CA)$$d2016-08-21 / 2016-08-26$$gICTAM2016 000015173 720__ $$aPence, Thomas 000015173 8560_ $$ffischerc@itam.cas.cz 000015173 8564_ $$s101608$$uhttps://invenio.itam.cas.cz/record/15173/files/TS.SM04-5.02.pdf$$yOriginal version of the author's contribution as presented on CD, page 1937, code TS.SM04-5.02 . 000015173 962__ $$r13812 000015173 980__ $$aPAPER
