000015303 520__ $$2eng$$aThe effect of filler addition on the mechanical and piezoelectric properties of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) is studied for two reinforcements, namely, multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) and barium titanate (BaTiO3) nanoparticles. Addition of BaTiO3 nanoparticles and MWCNTs to PVDF resulted  ...  60 and 75%, respectively. BaTiO3 nanoparticles increased elongation at break by about five times that of PVDF and generated about 3.5 mV of output.
