000015978 520__ $$2eng$$aTwo computational mechanics problems of structural solid mechanics and fluid dynamics of natural fire for the case of car explosion and later fire operation are considered. It is still open research topic to provide coupled problem, that involves both solid and fluid numerical analyses in multi-physics formulation and solution. Here the sequential coupling between the CFD simulation and the explicit and implicit FEM computations is proposed. The main aim for computations is to translate the results from fluid dynamics part and explicit finite elements part into boundary and initial conditions of implicit structural mechanics analysis. As the car fire problem under consideration the adequate history of variables for heat transfer problem CFD analysis of fire determines the correct results of total simulation. in Fire Dynamics Simulator 5.5.3 (FDS) time = 60 min
