FLUID-STRUCTURE INTERACTION IN LOUDSPEAKER SYSTEM

Abstract eng:
At the loudspeaker system designing, especially for bass zone, many things have be taken to account. First it is loudspeaker, secondary loudspeaker’s baffle board. For loudspeaker ARA 390 00/8 the project of subwoofer was done in terms of TS parameters by using computational simulation for resonance frequency 40 Hz of bassreflex. In ANSYS program corresponding model of sound reproducer, bassreflex cabinet and surrounded air volume was done. The transient analysis was computed. The oscillation of loudspeaker membrane by constant amplitude and frequency was simulated. Implementation of fluidstructure interface allowed the structural vibration transformation to acoustic pressure in the air. The acoustic wave spread in the internal air volume and vibrate by sides. Thus the secondary resonators occurred on surrounding surfaces.
