The loss coefficients of different types of blade cascades are evaluated, the efficiency of turbine stages is measured. The quality of profiles designed for the subsonic and transonic flow, as well as the tip and hub and walls design of turbine stages were tested on an aerodynamic wind tunnel and on an experimental steam turbine. 3D design of blades is described in the paper.
