000001757 520__ $$2eng$$aThis article describes methods for computing pulse wave velocity propagation through artery wall and usage for an asymptomatic abdominal aneurysm diagnosis. The methods used in article are both analytic formula and FEM computations. Influence of all parameters in analytic formula on pulse wave velocity propagation are analyzed and comparison between analytic formula and FEM computation on narrow artery is carried out.
