000001791 520__ $$2eng$$aThe paper deals with the development of a mesh generating algorithm. First, reasons for the use of Lagrangian formulation in modeling of fluidstructure interaction are given. The need of a suitable meshing algorithm is discussed. Bowyer/Watson algorithm for constructing Delaunay triangulation was chosen and implemented in the finite element package OOFEM. An octree data sorting is introduced in order to decrease the algorithm time consumption.
