000018321 520__ $$2eng$$aDue to the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, some seismic isolation bridges were severely damaged by ground motion and cracks of isolation bearings were observed. In this paper, one of the damaged bridges was picked and dynamic analyses were conducted to clarify the cause of damage of the bridge. As a result of the reproduction analyses of the bridge using the estimated ground motion based on aftershock observations, it is estimated that the isolation bearings were damaged by shearing and vertical force due to rocking vibration of the superstructure.
