Comparison Studies on Structural Codes – Seismic Codes in South East Asia
Abstract eng: Many researchers, scientist, engineers and government officials have dedicated to find a design method of seismic resistant structures. Major seismic codes in countries which are located at west part of Ring of Fire are experiencing boost in economy, while facing the risk of huge earthquake at the same time. In this paper, the codes are also compared with international standard then summarize the similarity and difference between codes.
