EFFECT OF EQUALIZING GAPS ON THE FLOW IN THE TURBINE STAGES


Abstract eng:
A stage with impulse blading on a drum rotor is considered. Steam leakage through the shroud and shaft sealing has been determined by means of a numerical simulation. The effect of equalizing gaps on the stage efficiency, flow coefficient and axial force on the rotor has been proved.
